Rice cake with almonds, apples and raisins
Ingredients for 6 people

200 g of Flora Wholemeal rice
1/ 2 l of milk
1 teaspoon of salt
70 g of raisins
70 g of shelled almonds
2 Renette apples
1 orange
Extra virgin olive oil

PREPARATION

Rice cake with almonds, apples and raisins is the ideal dessert for sweet tooths who love to treat themselves with tasty yet healthy sins of gluttony. Here, we suggest the variant with our Flora Wholemeal rice, for an original touch with personality. Suitable to conclude a good meal, also perfect as a snack. The first step is to wash the rice well with cold water and, then, to soak it in 1/ 2 l of milk and 1/2 l of water. After lightly salting, keep cooking until the grains have absorbed everything. Meanwhile, peel and chop the almonds, wash the raisins and prepare the apples (which should be peeled and chopped). To season the cake, add some orange peel zest to the apples. When the rice has cooled completely, add the apples and dried fruit. All you have to do now is bake: it will only take about 30 minutes of baking at 160° for the cake to be ready.
