Flora was created in the late 1960s. A leader in the Parboiled Rice production, even today Flora recognizes itself with the historic rice that doesn’t overcook.

Later, the path of innovation led to the introduction of new types of products that are easy to cook and tasty, perfect for those who appreciate quickness without giving up on the flavor.

The parboiling process involves the use of steam, during which the nutrients contained in the outer parts of the grain migrate to its interior and are retained there. This process helps limit the dispersion of nutrients in water during cooking, ensuring that the rice is firmer and does not become mushy. The meticulous care taken in processing and the quality of the rice varieties carefully selected guarantee firm and well-separated grains, making every dish perfect.

In 2021 Flora became part of Curti srl, which gave the brand a new innovative push with the introduction of new products and new investments in the research and development

A year later, thanks to the conception of the Flora Method– which enhances the organoleptic properties of parboiled rice- and the maniacal attention at each stage of processing, the brand is ready to take a new place in the area of food well-being.
