THE PARBOIL PROCESS

The parboil process is very ancient. There are evidence of this method since the Babilonese age. Raw rice was usually left into the water, as first step, then cooked for a very short time and finally dried in the sun.

Flora, since ever, offers an “always al dente rice” and now, thanks to the new parboil process, without any mechanical stress of the grain, it further reduces the time of cooking, mantaining the entirety of the grain.
